VALUE OF FAILING

 

Have you seen a diamond in its raw state? 

I am very sure if today we had a couple of these uncut diamonds in front of us , many of us would not be able to recognize them.they just look like ordinary rough stones . 


In a very old famous story by Russell H, a man actually left his "acres of Diamonds" to look for the diamonds elsewhere because he didn't know what diamonds in their raw state looked like ......
A lot of friction needed before it finally becomes the diamond that we see in the showcase.

It has to undergo a tremendous amount of friction and rubbing and all the polishing steps for that Diamond to become so sparkled & attractive. Similarly we need to be polished by going through hard times & suffering times before greatness in us is revealed.

The gold could be molded into attractive ornaments only when the gold is heated on a very high temperature & The flowers have to be badly crushed first before we can actually get the perfume from it. You see , it is that process of crushing , these failing experience that will bring out the best in us .

But most of us don't understand it. When we undergo hard times and disappointing times we become very bitter. we begin to curse - why me ?? Instead of cursing and disappointing, we should thank God for choosing us for giving a great chance to be Great.

I have gone through to many biographies of great characters , shining personalities of the world and found one thing common , struggle against all kind of hardships & failures. If you are not having any struggle in life means you are not adding anything in your life , you will reach nowhere , you have yet not started .....
